Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Clerk to join our team as a Customer Service Support Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing customer transactions, and maintaining accurate records. You'll work closely with our customer service team to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities

* Process customer transactions, including ticket sales, printing, and reissuing

  • Manage the registration process, ensuring that customers have the necessary documentation for travel
  • Label and handle luggage, performing lifting tasks that involve moving luggage from scales to transport lines
  • Practice security-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and system
  • Use computers to assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements, loading process, flight status, checking and handling luggage, and managing and starting the loading process
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve customer issues and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and data entry software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
  • Familiarity with English, both written and spoken, and Spanish, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Commitment to security and data protection, with the ability to handle sensitive customer information

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service or data entry roles

  • Familiarity with airline operations and customer service procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
