Job Summary

As a Shopify Chat Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch customer support and sales guidance to our clients' customers through live chat on their websites and social media accounts. You'll troubleshoot issues, guide customers through their purchasing process, and provide detailed product information to ensure a seamless and satisfying experience for our clients' customers. This entry-level position is perfect for those eager to learn and grow within the e-commerce industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer support and sales guidance to clients' customers through live chat on their websites and social media accounts

  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Guide customers through their purchasing process, including product selection, payment, and delivery
  • Provide detailed product information and answer customer inquiries in a clear and concise manner
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored support and guidance
  • Collaborate with the arenaflex team to ensure seamless communication and support across all channels

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, communications) preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center, retail, or e-commerce environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customers and clients
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business growth
  • Reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Availability of at least 10 hours per week, with flexibility to work variable shifts and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms

  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and customer service tools
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing strategies
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
