Demand Lead

Job Title: Demand Lead Reports To: Director of Demand Location: Nashville, TN (In-Person/Hybrid) Position Summary AgriCapture is seeking a driven, commercially minded Demand Lead to own and accelerate top of funnel pipeline development across our buyer relationships for carbon, water and Scope 3. This is an account management-level role with a strong emphasis on revenue generation moving prospects through the sales cycle, managing due diligence and contracting processes, and building lasting relationships with corporate sustainability buyers and credit purchasers. You will serve as a key point of contact for active and prospective buyers to manage relationships and ensure client success. You will support revenue growth through by supporting the sales operations in a growing commercial team. The ideal candidate is a disciplined sales professional who understands environmental markets, thrives in a startup environment, and is contribution-minded and solutions-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development & Account Management

  • Own and manage a pipeline of prospective buyers across Carbon, Water, and Scope 3 markets
  • Generate top-of-funnel leads, identifying and qualifying new buyer opportunities
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of active accounts and inbound leads
  • Ensure timely follow ups and support the Demand Team in keeping opportunities moving through the pipeline
  • Support sales operations, managing CRM, due diligence responses and data rooms, RFP requests, and supporting contracts, and close
  • Maintain accurate pipeline records and revenue tracking in our CRM

Customer Due Diligence & Contracting

  • Guide buyers through due diligence processes, including responding to RFPs, data requests, and technical questions about AgriCapture's credit quality and methodology
  • Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate contracting and offtake agreement execution
  • Develop and improve proposal templates, term sheets, and marketing materials tailored to buyer segments
  • Ensure buyer questions and concerns are addressed efficiently with team input

Market Intelligence

  • Research environmental market trends and proactively engage with the latest market research and trends.
  • Inform the team of market opportunities that align with AgriCapture’s value proposition
  • Gather and synthesize buyer feedback to inform product development and go-to-market strategy

Event Coordination & Conference Presence

  • Plan and execute invite-only dinners, roundtables, and hosted events at key sustainability and agriculture conferences
  • Manage conference logistics including speaker coordination, attendee invitations, venue selection, and follow-up engagement
  • Maintain a conference roadmap and ensure AgriCapture has a deliberate, high-value presence at priority events
  • Convert conference touchpoints into pipeline activity through disciplined follow-up

Sales Operations & Proposals

  • Support the development and continuous improvement of sales operations processes, including pipeline reporting, proposal workflows, and CRM hygiene
  • Prepare tailored proposals, pitch decks, and supporting collateral for buyer conversations

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in account management, business development, or sales roles
  • Demonstrated track record of managing a sales pipeline and closing commercial agreements
  • Experience managing or supporting due diligence and contracting processes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage credibly with sophisticated corporate buyers
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple accounts and workstreams simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel to sustainability and agriculture conferences throughout the year (~10% of time)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working or interning in agriculture, carbon, or sustainability organizations
  • Familiarity with voluntary carbon markets (VCM), Scope 3 solutions, or environmental attribute markets strongly preferred
  • Social media and marketing experience or fluency
