Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services
• Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensuring a smooth customer experience
• Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on industry developments and trends
• Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our dealership clients to build their customer base
• Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary
• The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
• Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change
• A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• Experience in an office setting, customer interaction, call center, or office customer service setting is preferred, with 2+ years of experience
• The ability to pass a background check
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
• Strong decision-making and analytical abilities
• Fast typing skills are a plus, with a minimum of 35 WPM
