Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service/Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers across various departments, including Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental
  • Learning about products and services using arenaflex's tools and resources, and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
  • Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, and handling basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
  • Participating in sales initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth and customer engagement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications:

* 1+ year of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Proficiency in using technology, including CRM systems, email, and phone systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a remote or work-from-home environment

  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service leadership role
  • Certification in customer service or sales, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in multiple languages
