Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Lead Supervisor - Customer Care, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supervising a team of customer service representatives to ensure maximum productivity, high-quality service, and adherence to policy and procedures
  • Responding to escalated customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing coaching, counseling, and performance feedback to team members to drive performance improvement and growth
  • Handling routine personnel issues and contributing to a positive work environment that recognizes achievement, rewards high performance, and promotes opportunity
  • Performing supervisory stand-by duty, as required, during weekends or emergency situations
  • Responding to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5 years of experience in the customer service field, with 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and tools
  • A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
  • Experience with performance management and coaching
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
