About the Role
arenaflex is seeking a part-time remote intern for the Summer of 2024 to join our team of experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). As an AI Intern (ChatGPT Specialist), you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in AI and ML, work with a team of experts, and contribute to exciting and impactful projects with a goal of eventually bringing this expertise to the DOD and IC.
Responsibilities
As an AI Intern (ChatGPT Specialist), you'll be responsible for:
- Familiarizing yourself with ChatGPT and OpenAI API through chat.openai.com to understand its capabilities and applications.
- Fine-tuning ChatGPT and using embeddings to organize our business development (BD) responses into a structured, queryable form.
- Generating text drafts on various topics using our existing data corpus.
- Training of open-source models for use on air-gapped networks. This includes researching and selecting suitable models, preparing data for training, and fine-tuning the models.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- To be a US Citizen with the expectation of being submitted for a security clearance.
- To be currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in a technology-related field.
- Experience with Python, including command-line usage with virtual environments.
- Experience with or knowledge of GPT-4 or similar AI language models is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in creating, training, and fine-tuning AI models is beneficial but not mandatory.
