Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for working on various aspects of ride development and design, from concept to installation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to ensure that our rides meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop innovative ride concepts that meet our company's vision and partner requirements

• Distill and organize technical requirements from high-level insights, story descriptions, and artwork
• Work with key partners to define system requirements and user interface details
• Lead the daily activities of a design and development team through all phases of work, including planning, mockups, production, installation, testing, turnover, and close-out efforts
• Be responsible for the development of extension, examination, testing, risk, and report records
• Be responsible for seller/contractor management and oversight
• Be responsible for advanced model and drawing development, and delivery
• Lead large-scale verification of concept model and prototype efforts; plan/fab/test
• Collaborate with the project acquisition team to assess, bid, and award outside contractor contracts
• Lead/manage the installation of ride mechanical equipment, field support, and testing

Essential Qualifications

* Involved mechanical engineering experience

• High-level engineering knowledge (e.g., statics, dynamics, resistances, kinematics, stress/strain)
• High-level engineering expertise (e.g., machine design, weldments, power train, materials)
• Capability with design tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, ANSYS, FEA, Matlab)
• Unparalleled design sensibilities and innovative problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Past experience with Disney or entertainment industry, with advanced knowledge of the business

• Experience with life safety plan/prerequisites
• Experience with model, development, or potentially innovative products
• Technical certifications (EIT, FE, PE)
