Job Summary
As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance with behavioral health-related issues. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to inbound calls, provide support, and connect callers with the appropriate resources. This role requires a high level of professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills, as you will be interacting with individuals facing emotionally charged situations.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to inbound calls in a timely and professional manner
- Provide support and assistance to callers, connecting them with the appropriate resources
- Document all calls and conversations in accordance with arenaflex's documentation policies
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Stay calm and composed under pressure, even in high-stress situations
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and support
Requirements
* Prior experience in a call center setting is required
- Medical or behavioral health experience is highly preferred
- Ability to work from home with a distraction-free environment
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Willingness to work all holidays, even if they fall on a weekend
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and during potentially high-stress calls
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a behavioral health setting
- Knowledge of behavioral health resources and services
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs)
