Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Data Entry Specialists to join our laboratory team in Salt Lake City, UT. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in processing human blood samples and entering data into computer systems in preparation for testing. Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist – Healthcare Specimen Processing and Laboratory Support, your key responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, sorting, and logging all specimens for laboratory testing with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborating with all departments within the laboratory to ensure testing accuracy and efficiency
- Meeting time-sensitive deadlines with precision and attention to detail
- Maintaining a focus on precision and timely processing of samples in a laboratory environment
- Working with laboratory equipment and adhering to strict quality control standards
- Entering data into computer systems with accuracy and attention to detail

Additional Skills & Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Experience in a laboratory setting or healthcare environment
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health records (EHRs)
- Certification in phlebotomy or medical laboratory technology (MLT) a plus
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT, where you will work as part of a contract-to-hire arrangement. The role involves working with laboratory equipment and maintaining a focus on precision and timely processing of samples in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
