Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Medical Office Support (20 hours/week, PRN)

Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information within our computer systems. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in data entry software will ensure seamless data management and confidentiality. Responsibilities

* Enter and update patient data accurately and efficiently into arenaflex's database and systems.

  • Verify and review data for errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies.
  • Sort, organize, and file physical and digital documents as needed.
  • Scan physical files and upload documents to Symplr software.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information.
  • Follow established data entry procedures and guidelines.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance data entry efficiency.

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry software.
  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Symplr software is preferred.

Essential Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with other employees.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other required software.
  • Document imaging skills.
  • Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Basic skills, including proper punctuation and spelling.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting.

  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and data management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
