Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Opportunity with arenaflex

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with borrowers to address their concerns, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting student loan borrowers with account inquiries, repayment options, and application processes
- Handling inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment
- Providing accurate, professional, and empathetic customer support
- Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, company policies, and data security standards
- Meeting key performance indicators and quality assurance standards
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have at least 6 months of customer service experience in a business, non-retail environment or call center experience
- Possess 6 months of computer experience in a business setting
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust (5c) security clearance (financial/credit history and background will be reviewed)
- Not be in default on federal student loans
- Demonstrate financial responsibility
- Not have felony convictions within the past 7 years
- Not have misdemeanor convictions within the past 7 years that may impact eligibility
- Not have non-medical collections totaling $7,500 or more
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, prior call center experience and an associate or bachelor's degree are highly desirable.
Technical & Availability Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Have a reliable high-speed internet connection (No WIFI, wired Ethernet required)
- Be able to travel to an arenaflex facility for pre-employment visits (such as equipment pickup and credentialing) and any additional on-site requirements during employment
- Pass an online customer service assessment
- Have a quiet, private, and distraction-free home workspace, with no caregiving responsibilities or other interruptions during scheduled work hours
- Be available to work any assigned shift during Contact Center hours:
+ Mon: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM CT + Tue–Fri: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM CT + Sat: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM CT
Classroom and Hands-On-Training
As a new hire, you'll participate in up to 5-6 weeks of paid classroom and hands-on training, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT (remote).
Pay & Benefits
As an arenaflex Customer Service Representative, you'll enjoy:
- Base Pay: $17.20/hour
- Health & Welfare Pay: Additional $4.93/hour (up to 40 hrs./week), which can fully cover employee-only medical, dental, and vision premiums
