Job Summary
As a Shopify Chat Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer support to our clients' customers. You'll be responsible for handling incoming customer support questions via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, work independently, and contribute to the growth of our clients' businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer support via live chat on businesses' websites and social media accounts - Handle incoming customer support questions, including troubleshooting and guiding customers through their purchasing process - Offer detailed product information and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner - Work closely with our team to ensure seamless customer support and resolve any issues that may arise - Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our clients' products and services to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
Essential Qualifications
- 10+ hours of availability per week to work independently and manage customer support queries - A reliable internet connection and a device able to access social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop) - Ability to closely follow provided steps and instructions to ensure seamless customer support - Strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries efficiently - Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple customer support queries
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer support or a related field - Knowledge of Shopify and e-commerce platforms - Familiarity with social media and live chat platforms - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer inquiries - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
