Our Digital Technology group is a dynamic and innovative team that spans the globe, comprising talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and expertise. As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, you'll be part of this exciting team, working collaboratively to build a safer and more secure digital environment for our customers.
Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced Data Protection & Privacy Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and implementing data protection and privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations
- Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to protect sensitive customer information
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure technology solutions
- Providing training and guidance to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and privacy
- Participating in incident response and crisis management efforts to ensure timely and effective resolution
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a STEM-associated field, with a focus on data protection and privacy
- Strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, including local, national, and international regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, meeting strict deadlines and managing multiple tasks concurrently
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- CISA certification
- Security+ certification
- Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
- Knowledge of safety engineering and architecture principles
- Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
- Ability to interpret noncompliance and determine its impact on risk and/or average effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program
- Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities
