A Typical Day as a Happiness Engineer at arenaflex

As a Happiness Engineer at arenaflex, you'll work as part of our global team with a high degree of independence and accountability. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:

  • Assisting a variety of customers by email, live chat, voice, and/or video calls. This might include technical troubleshooting with a developer, an educational walkthrough with an end user, or a consultative sales call with a mid-sized agency.
  • Going beyond the immediate question to help our customers succeed with our products. This might involve providing training, offering recommendations, or simply being a sounding board for their ideas.
  • Reaching out to potential and existing customers to learn about their goals, their experience with our products, and how we can ensure their continued success.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, dogfooding, and testing to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and usability.
  • Embracing change and learning new things. Our products and services are constantly evolving, and we need Happiness Engineers who can adapt quickly and stay up-to-date with the latest developments.
  • Proactively recommending ideas that will help the customer be more successful. This might involve suggesting new features, providing best practices, or simply offering guidance on how to get the most out of our products.

What We're Looking for in a Happiness Engineer

Our Happiness Engineers are highly skilled and experienced individuals who possess a unique combination of technical, communication, and problem-solving skills. If you have:

  • Deep experience in technical support, engineering, and/or customer success. Proficiency with WordPress is a big plus.
  • Expert communication skills, and can quickly establish rapport with end users, developers, and agency clients alike. You must be able to write and speak fluently in English.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and great judgment. Your solutions not only fix immediate issues, but also pave the way for sustained growth for our customers with our products and services.
  • A strong sense of accountability and impeccable follow-through. You stay professional and respectful in intense situations, comfortably de-escalate upset customers, and welcome critical feedback.
  • An in-depth knowledge of ecommerce and an understanding of what it takes to manage, promote, and support a successful ecommerce business.

Additional Skills and Qualifications
