Job Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Analyst – Space Optimization, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• 50%: Provide micro and macro area optimization evaluation of various scopes throughout items, categories, and departments.
• 20%: Communicate the method and suggestions generated by tools to senior business leaders.
• 20%: Evaluate and identify opportunities during store initiatives and business resets for arenaflex.
• 10%: Partner with store planning and space planning to aid and execute new ideas based on competitive and space productivity analyses.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of work experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Advanced experience with the JDA Intactix space control suite is highly preferred.
• High skill in financial/statistical modeling packages including forecasting and/or optimization is highly preferred.
• Experience in MS Excel, MS Access or other analytical tools required.
• Experience with Hadoop, R, SAS or other applicable statistical modeling tools/languages.
• Experience with multiple statistical modeling and regression evaluation strategies and their practical business applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

* The information, skills, and abilities commonly obtained through the completion of a bachelor's or master's degree program or equivalent in a field of study related to the job.

• Three years of work experience in data mining and statistical analysis.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis and a proven ability to identify key insights from data to solve business problems.
• Proven ability to manage conditions that require analytical thinking, negotiation, interpretation, and execution.
• The ability to create and influence change through their behavior and enthusiasm in their work.
• In-depth knowledge of retail, supply chain, product format, and space planning practices and methods with the ability to analyze and interpret space and space productivity data.
