Job Summary

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for applying advanced data science techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets, drive business growth, and improve customer experience. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

* 55% Data Analysis and Modeling: Develop and implement data models and algorithms to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and make business recommendations.

• 20% Results Communication: Effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and customers.
• 10% Business Collaboration: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify business challenges, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate findings.
• 15% Technical Development and Advancement: Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques, tools, and technologies, and contribute to the development of arenaflex's data science capabilities.

Direct Supervisor/Direct Reports

* This position typically reports to a Director or above.

* Typically requires less than 10% travel.

Physical Demands

* Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with opportunities to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.

Working Conditions

Minimum Qualifications

* Must be 18 years old or older.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong background in a quantitative field (e.g., software engineering, math, statistics) or equivalent work experience.

• 4+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with a modern programming language (ideally Python).
• Ability to run queries against data (ideally with Google BigQuery or SQL).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (ideally Tableau).
• Strong understanding of statistical procedures to identify key insights that help solve business problems.
• Familiarity with prescriptive analytics techniques (e.g., machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing).
