The Role
As an Experienced Part-Time Data Entry Specialist – Financial Analysis and Reporting, you'll be an integral part of our Global Merchant and Network Services (GM&NS) Estimating team. This team is responsible for driving the growth of our merchant discount income, which is the single largest source of revenue for arenaflex. You'll work closely with our colleagues to analyze data, identify trends, and develop insights that inform our pricing strategies. Your expertise will help us optimize our merchant discount income, drive business growth, and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and report on merchant discount income data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain scorecards to track performance and drive business growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive normalization and process improvement
- Support external audits and reviews, investigating issues and developing solutions
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to identify insights and inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to drive business growth and optimize revenue
Essential Qualifications
* 2 years' experience in financial services or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial analysis and reporting
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- High proficiency in Excel, with experience working with large datasets and complex financial models
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with financial data and analytics tools, such as SAS or SQL
- Strong understanding of financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive projects from start to finish
- Experience working with external auditors and regulatory bodies
