Responsibilities

Design and maintain optimal data architectural solutions Address complex data challenges to enhance business insight delivery Develop advanced data products to aid analytics initiatives Mentor and lead in data standards, practices, and governance Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and efficient data solutions Guide the integration of new analytical tools and processes Implement strategic communication plans for data capabilities Collaborate on technical architectures for major enterprise projects

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related field 5-7 years’ experience in relevant data engineering/architecture roles Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and programming (Python/Scala) Experience with Azure ecosystem, preferable Knowledge of Linux OS Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts

Preferred experience: Expertise in SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language (Python or Scala preferred); Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses in big data solutions; Experience with developing solutions on Azure using its core services ADF, ADLS, Blob, and Fabric (preferred); Database development experience using Hadoop or BigQuery and experience with a variety of relational, NoSQL, and cloud database technologies; Worked with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Shiny Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data;. Big Data Development experience using Spark, Databricks, Impala, and familiarity with Kafka (Preferred); Familiarity with the Linux operating system (Preferred); Exposure to machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and/or applied mathematics Expertise in SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language (Python or Scala preferred); Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses in big data solutions; Experience with developing solutions on Azure using its core services ADF, ADLS, Blob, and Synapse (preferred); Database development experience using Hadoop or BigQueryand experience with a variety of relational, NoSQL, and cloud database technologies; Worked with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Shiny Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data;.
