Senior Claims Manager
Hiring: Senior Claims Manager | Renewable Energy / Construction / Oil & Gas We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Claims Manager to join a long-term international project with a leading organization operating within the renewable energy and infrastructure sector. Location: Remote (Candidates based in Sweden or Denmark preferred) Start Date: June 2026
About the Role
This position will play a key role in proactively identifying, managing, and resolving high-value and high-risk claims and disputes across operations, contracts, warranty matters, and insurance-related cases. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end claims strategies while collaborating closely with Engineering, Commercial, Legal, Insurance, Asset Management, and Operations teams in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and implement claims management strategies Manage incoming and outgoing claims across operational, contractual, warranty, and insurance matters Analyze claims from legal, technical, commercial, and supplier perspectives Support dispute resolution, arbitration, adjudication, and negotiation processes Coordinate with legal advisors, insurance experts, and third-party consultants Ensure contract administration, governance, and compliance processes are maintained Prepare management reporting and strategic recommendations Support commercial and operational teams with supplier and contract-related claims Required Experience & Skills 5+ years of experience within Renewables, Construction, Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas industries Several years of experience as a Claims Manager and/or Contracts Manager Strong expertise in: Contract law Commercial agreements Claims preparation Arbitration/litigation processes Insurance claims and policies Contract administration Risk management Warranty claims Operational claims Insurance-related disputes Supplier and contractor disputes Ability to interpret complex contractual wording and identify risks Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills Experience managing external legal counsel and consultants Excellent communication skills in English Comfortable working in multicultural and cross-functional international environments Preferred Background 🎓 Degree in Engineering, Law, Project Management, Contract Management, or related discipline 🎓 Additional qualifications in insurance, claims, or risk management are advantageous We are looking for someone who is: Self-driven and proactive Structured and solution-oriented Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure Collaborative with strong relationship-building skills Focused on achieving commercial and strategic outcomes 📩 Interested or know someone suitable?
