The American Camp Association® (ACA) is a national nonprofit organization serving the more than 20,000 year-round and summer camps in the US that annually serve 26 million campers. ACA is committed to empowering camps to create quality experiences that build a world of belonging and growth. We are looking for a full-time, remote National Network Engagement Director. Someone to serve as the primary relationship manager for national youth-serving organizations that operate camp programs. What would you do if hired? Increase ACA individual membership by 4%, accredited camps by 1%, and fee-paying camps by 2% annually among national network organizations. Recruit new individual members and camps affiliated with national network organizations. Strengthen relationships and increase engagement with existing members and camps to support a 95% retention rate for camps paying fees and 75% retention rate for camps paying dues. Encourage and support camps within national network organizations in exploring and pursuing ACA accreditation. Increase educational product sales from network camps by 3% annually. Collaborate with ACA regional staff and other teams to connect national network organizations to ACA resources and programs. Identify opportunities for collaboration on professional development, programs, and initiatives. Assist staff in identifying and cultivating potential volunteers and leaders within national network organizations. Represent ACA at in person and virtual meetings and events hosted by national network organizations. Monitor trends within national youth-serving organizations and share insights with ACA leadership. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Represent ACA positively when interacting with partners, members, volunteers, and stakeholders. Collaborate with staff and volunteers across the association to advance strategic goals. What are we looking for in a candidate? Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience 3–5 years of experience in partnership development, membership development, relationship management, or sales-oriented environments. Membership recruitment, engagement, and retention experience. Experience working with youth-serving organizations, camps, or related nonprofit organizations preferred. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Understanding of ACA’s mission and accreditation program. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Volunteer development and leadership cultivation Ability to travel as needed, up to 35%. What salary and benefits do we offer?
