Role Overview Mint Source is hiring an Email Marketing Strategist to join a Canadian DTC supplement brand. You'll run the day-to-day of the email program across DTC and Amazon, partnering closely with the brand's founders on direction and managing the relationship with their existing email marketing agency. This is the in-house seat that turns founder-level vision into a calendar, briefs, approvals, and shipped sends. Success in this role looks like a smoother monthly cadence, sharper creative output from the agency, and a steadily growing contribution from email to overall revenue. It's a real opportunity to own a channel inside a brand that's investing in growth and still shaping its operating rhythm.
What You'll Do
Run the monthly email calendar across DTC and Amazon, planning campaigns, flows, launches, and seasonal moments weeks in advance Translate founder direction on launches, themes, and sales periods into clear, actionable briefs for the agency Manage the day-to-day relationship with the email marketing agency, including reviews, approvals, deadlines, and exception conversations when work needs to be redone Review and refine agency-drafted copy in Figma, sharpening hooks, CTAs, and structure with clear reasoning behind every change Own segmentation strategy and audience logic across the welcome series, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, and win-back flows Make and defend technical send decisions in Klaviyo, including dynamic fields, send times, properties, and A/B test setups Partner with the COO on Amazon-side strategy, extending his briefs into executed sends and managing the back-and-forth with the agency Bring analytical reasoning to every recommendation, pulling and assessing performance data each cycle, surfacing what's working and what isn't, and feeding that back into the next brief Bring brand and creative judgment to design reviews, flagging anything off-brand or weak before it ships What We're Looking For 2–3 years of email marketing experience at a DTC brand or email-focused agency, ideally with exposure to both sides of the table Hands-on familiarity with Klaviyo for reviews, segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analysis (you don't need to build flows from scratch, but you should be comfortable inside the platform) Experience reviewing creative in Figma and giving clear, specific feedback that improves the work Strong written communication, especially in writing briefs and editing copy that's already been drafted Comfort managing an external agency or vendor relationship, including the harder conversations around quality and timelines Solid analytical instinct. you can look at open rates, CTR, and revenue and form a point of view about what to change DTC e-commerce experience required, Amazon and supplement/health brand exposure is a strong plus Comfortable working at the early stage of an email program where the operating rhythm is still being built Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) Monthly email calendar is planned and approved at least two weeks ahead of send dates Agency deliverables ship on time and meet quality standards before founder review Email-driven revenue contribution grows steadily quarter over quarter across DTC and Amazon Flow performance (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back) is reviewed and optimized monthly 30/60/90: in the first 30 days, fully map the current program, agency rhythm, and performance baseline. by day 60, own the monthly calendar and agency relationship end-to-end with founder sign-off. by day 90, drive your first measurable lift on a flow or campaign and present a quarterly plan to the founders What You Get Competitive compensation discussed individually based on experience and location A fully remote role with a clear operating rhythm and meaningful ownership of a growing channel Direct collaboration with the founders, including the COO who runs Amazon-side strategy A chance to shape the email function at a brand that's still building its rhythm. your voice on process and structure will matter Back-office support from Mint Source for payroll, onboarding, and HR Apply To This Job
