Procurement Specialist
Job Title: Procurement Specialist Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Procurement Specialist, where you will be a key player in integrating the purchase system transactions for Indirect goods and services across multiple projects. This role involves collaborating with multiple legal entities in four countries and managing relationships with 1400 new suppliers. This is a 6-month assignment, with potential co-location in Budapest or the United States, working closely with GBS central operations.
Responsibilities
Process and manage supplier and GBS inquiries and escalations. Prioritize the urgency of inquiries and process responses accordingly. Resolve inquiries independently when possible and communicate directly with suppliers. Utilize FAQs where applicable and understand escalation points. Route inquiries to responsible parties for resolution and maintain a directory of responsible parties. Monitor the flow of inquiries into the central mailbox and track response resolutions. Ensure disciplined follow-up with responsible parties to close out inquiries in a timely manner. Provide daily and weekly reporting on total inquiries, resolutions, and those in process. Essential SkillsExperience in procurement and onboarding. Proficiency in handling supplier set-ups, escalations, and inquiries. Strong customer service skills. Ability to manage tracking and reporting, including escalation calls and SOP adherence. Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a bonus. Strong problem-solving abilities and people skills, especially with suppliers and end-users. Experience in customer-oriented work environments. Work EnvironmentThis position is 100% remote, and candidates must be located within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
