Position Overview The Compliance Line Officer (US Insurance) is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and submission of surplus lines (E&S) tax filings. This role involves gathering and organizing required documentation, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and utilizing systems such as Inscipher to process filings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Gather, review, and organize documentation required for E&S tax filings Process and prepare E&S tax filing submissions accurately and within deadlines Ensure compliance with state-specific surplus lines tax requirements Maintain accurate records of filings and supporting documents Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to obtain necessary information Monitor filing timelines and follow up on pending requirements
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in E&S tax filing, including document gathering and processing Hands-on experience using InsCipher for tax filing Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple filings and meet strict deadlines Good organizational and documentation skills Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Qualifications Experience using Applied EPIC Familiarity with surplus lines compliance across multiple states Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders Why RecruitGo?
