Let’s build the future of engineering together. 👉 Your Role As a Business Development Representative at Synera, your focus is on growing and developing our existing customer base. You'll work closely with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities — introducing customers to new features, AI agents, and modules that unlock even more value. You sit at the intersection of customer needs, product value, and revenue growth. That means deeply understanding how customers use Synera today, spotting where additional automation or AI agents make sense, and translating those insights into concrete expansion and growth opportunities. This role is ideal for you if you love relationship-driven sales, strategic conversations, and helping customers get even more out of a solution — all while staying hands-on, revenue-focused, and close to the action. 👉 Your main focus areas: Customer Expansion & Revenue Growth: Identify, qualify, and drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities within our existing customer base. Collaborative Selling: Work closely with Account Executives and Customer Success to plan and execute smart expansion strategies. Customer Understanding: Develop a deep grasp of how customers use Synera today, what challenges they face, and where additional AI agents, features, or modules can create real value. Value-Based Storytelling: Clearly and compellingly explain new features, modules, and use cases — always with a focus on customer outcomes and measurable business impact. Pipeline Ownership (Expansion): Build and manage your own expansion pipeline end-to-end: from opportunity identification through deal support to close. Feedback Loop to Product: Actively bring insights from customer conversations to the product and GTM teams, helping shape future features, use cases, and positioning. ⚡ In 6 months: Developed a deep understanding of our customers, their workflows, and how they create real value with Synera. Successfully driven your first cross-sell and upsell deals alongside Account Executives and Customer Success. Become confident in presenting new features, AI agents, and modules persuasively in customer conversations. Built a reputation as a trusted sparring partner — both with customers and internal teams. Here are the salary ranges for this role: Entry Level (OTE): €44,500 – €54,300 Intermediate (OTE): €51,900 – €66,100 Please note these bands apply to Germany and may vary slightly by location. The level we hire you at depends on your experience, the scope of responsibility you take on, and the impact you can have. We typically stay within these ranges, but are open to some flexibility if you bring exceptional value to the role. You resonate with Synera's Core Values - they're central to how we work, and we'll explore them together in your first interview. Solid experience in outbound sales in a B2B SaaS environment. Strong English language skills (spoken and written) are required. Additional proficiency in a European language - e.g., French, Dutch, or Swedish - is a plus, and further language abilities are welcome. A strong track record (e.g., consistently exceeding quota over multiple quarters). Ability to pitch complex technical solutions convincingly (bonus if you have experience with AI, CAD, CAE, or engineering automation). Comfortable handling rejection, iterating quickly, and bringing a strong growth mindset and resilience. Familiarity with CRM systems, cold outreach tools, and LinkedIn prospecting (e.g., Salesforce, Clay, Sales Navigator, Aircall). You love hunting and driving new opportunities. P.S.
