Fully online courses and once a week two-hour sessions. There is a contract, which renews annually. - Math Teacher for Elementary, Middle, or High School
- English Language Arts Teacher for Elementary, Middle, or High School
- American History or World History Teacher for High School
- Biology/Living Environment, Chemistry, or Physics Teacher for High School
- SAT Math and English Teacher
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to organize coursework, track student progress, and facilitate online learning components
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with diverse learning styles and special education requirements
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
- Prepare students for standardized testing through targeted practice and review sessions
- Incorporate educational technology tools to enhance instruction and student engagement
Skills
- Strong knowledge of subject matter including Math, English, History, or Science appropriate for the assigned grade level
- Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse learners
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and integrating learning technology into daily instruction
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in classroom management
- Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations including standardized testing
- Proven classroom experience is a plus
- Writing skills necessary for creating clear instructional materials and assessments
- Experience in tutoring, childcare, or library services that support educational growth
- Behavior management techniques that foster respectful and productive classroom environments
