Registered Dietitian (Virtual, Contract | Flexible Full-Time Opportunity)

JOIN OUR TEAM AT keeksand.co ! k + c is growing, and we’re looking for a Registered Dietitian who is deeply passionate about helping people heal through sustainable, evidence-based, root-cause nutrition care. We are a virtual integrative nutrition and wellness practice focused on metabolic health, gut health, hormone balance, preventative care, and long-term lifestyle transformation. Our approach combines functional and clinical nutrition with realistic, approachable care that helps patients feel empowered — not overwhelmed. At k + c, we believe healthcare should feel personal, collaborative, and genuinely supportive. We help patients reconnect with their bodies through individualized nutrition therapy, advanced testing when appropriate, practical lifestyle strategies, and compassionate coaching. We’re looking for an RD who is clinically curious, emotionally intelligent, highly communicative, and excited to grow alongside an innovative and fast-moving practice. At k + c, we intentionally prioritize quality patient care, provider sustainability, and meaningful clinical work over high-volume scheduling. We consider approximately 20–25 patient-facing hours per week to be a full clinical workload within our care model, allowing providers adequate time for charting, care planning, functional lab interpretation, patient communication, and continued learning. This role is ideal for a self-driven clinician who values flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to practice in a more intentional and supportive care environment. What You’ll Do

• Provide virtual 1:1 nutrition counseling sessions to patients
• Deliver individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy rooted in both evidence-based and functional/integrative nutrition principles
• Support patients with concerns including:
• GI dysfunction and microbiome imbalances
• Autoimmune conditions
• Hormonal and metabolic dysfunction
• Chronic inflammation
• Fatigue, stress, and lifestyle-related health concerns
• Weight and body composition goals
• Interpret labs and functional testing (including GI-MAP & DUTCH testing preferred)
• Create personalized nutrition, supplement, and lifestyle recommendations
• Educate patients in a supportive, non-restrictive, and realistic way
• Collaborate with providers and team members within a multidisciplinary care model
• Contribute to wellness programs, educational resources, group offerings, and evolving patient care systems as the practice grows

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN)
• Active licensure in North Carolina required
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient counseling experience preferred
• Experience counseling patients in one-on-one settings using individualized, patient-centered approaches
• Strong understanding of integrative and functional nutrition principles
• Experience supporting patients with GI disorders, autoimmune conditions, metabolic dysfunction, and chronic disease
• Familiarity with DUTCH and GI-MAP testing and functional lab interpretation preferred
• Excellent communication and virtual counseling skills
• Comfortable building rapport and simplifying complex health information for patients
• Self-motivated, organized, adaptable, and collaborative
• Passionate about preventative health, root-cause care, and continuous learning
