Job Details PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Collect static and UAS derived LiDAR data in both interior and exterior environments Assist with setting conventional survey control for static and UAS derived LiDAR data collection efforts Process static LiDAR data sets including point cloud registration, QA/QC checks, and preparation for data extraction Process UAS derived imagery to orthophotography including QA/QC checks and preparation for data extraction Process UAS derived aerial LiDAR data sets including trajectory processing, point cloud classification, and data extraction preparation Extract data from orthophotography and point cloud data sets including 2D planimetric features, 3D topography, and BIM modeling Review project files and analyze field notes, legal descriptions, title easements, design plans, and construction layout notes Develop understanding of surveying concepts including Transportation Plats, Condominium Plats, Subdivision Plats, and legal descriptions QUALIFICATIONS Associate's Degree in a related field or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying from a U.S. accredited college or university preferred 5+ years of relevant experience Knowledge of static and aerial LiDAR data collection, processing, and extraction preferred Knowledge of basic surveying methods, practices, and techniques preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office required Proficiency in MicroStation, TopoDOT, Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS, Pix4Dmapper, and Revit preferred Strong attention to detail, self-initiative, and organizational skills Some travel required Applicable U.S. based work experience PERKS & BENEFITS Hybrid home/office environment Generous paid time off and 8 paid holidays Flexible work schedules and paid parental leave Medical, dental, and vision insurance with HSA and FSA options 401(k) with immediate participation and a generous company match Tuition and professional licensure/certification reimbursement Paid memberships to professional organizations, seminars, and conferences Mentoring, training, and career development programs Employee referral bonus Company picnics, seasonal events, team-building activities, and sports leagues including softball, basketball, bowling, cycling, and disc golf Interested in hearing more?
