LucidWorks AI Search Administrator
Overview
We are seeking a LucidWorks AI Search Administrator to support and enhance an enterprise search and knowledge management environment within a large-scale professional services organization. This individual will play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving an AI-enabled search platform that supports internal users across audit, assurance, and professional services functions. This role is ideal for someone who understands enterprise search technologies, enjoys solving operational and technical challenges, and can bridge support, administration, and emerging AI/search capabilities within a highly visible platform environment.
Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Support
- Administer and support the LucidWorks enterprise search platform
- Monitor search indexing, platform health, and system performance
- Troubleshoot production issues, search relevance concerns, and operational tickets
- Configure and maintain search schemas, crawlers, connectors, and site mappings
- Support KTLO (Keep the Lights On) operational activities and ongoing platform stability
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendor resources as needed
Search Optimization & Enhancements
- Improve search relevancy and content retrieval experiences
- Assist with implementing enhancements to the search platform and related tooling
- Support AI-enabled search functionality and emerging search technologies
- Help evolve the platform toward a broader "content-as-a-service" knowledge repository model
- Configure and optimize integrations across enterprise content repositories
Collaboration & Advisory
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand search and content retrieval needs
- Partner with technical teams, product owners, and vendor resources to prioritize work
- Provide operational guidance and recommendations around enterprise search best practices
- Assist in documenting support processes, configurations, and operational procedures
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise search technologies such as LucidWorks, Elasticsearch, Solr, or similar platforms
- Understanding of search indexing, relevance tuning, and content retrieval concepts
- Experience troubleshooting production support issues within enterprise applications
- Ability to work in both operational support and enhancement-focused environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
- Experience working within cloud-based or enterprise application ecosystems
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct LucidWorks experience
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Adobe Guides
- Exposure to AI-enabled search or conversational search technologies
- Familiarity with MCP/tool orchestration concepts or modern AI search tooling
- Experience supporting enterprise content management or knowledge management platforms
- Background supporting professional services, audit, compliance, or large enterprise environments
