Group Treasurer

Role Purpose The Group Treasurer is a senior Finance executive responsible for the company's global capital sourcing and liquidity strategy, treasury operations, banking relationships, and financial risk management. Reporting directly to the Group CFO and operating as a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, this role plays a critical part in shaping the company's capital structure, maintaining financial flexibility, and supporting enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership role suited to a finance executive who combines deep technical expertise in insurance capital frameworks with the presence and credibility to represent the company externally with rating agencies, banking partners, and private equity sponsors. Key Responsibilities and Activities Capital Strategy & Management

• Own the group's capital sourcing and liquidity strategies — defining how the group funds itself, maintains financial flexibility, and accesses capital markets across all legal entities, in partnership with the Group Director of FP&A.
• Co-lead capital structure strategy and capital raise activities with the Group CFO — including debt, equity, and hybrid financing solutions; provide liquidity and market access input to support capital adequacy assessments.
• Advise the CFO and Board on capital deployment decisions, new entity formations, and capital resourcing for strategic initiatives.
• Provide executive-level capital impact analysis on M&A opportunities, new product launches, and strategic transactions, partnering with Legal, Actuarial, and Corp Dev teams.
• Support long-range cash flow and capital projection in partnership with the Group Director of FP&A, providing treasury inputs to multi-year capital planning and scenario analysis.

Treasury Operations & Liquidity Management

• Oversee day-to-day treasury operations including cash management, liquidity forecasting, intercompany funding, and bank account administration across global entities.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with global banking partners; negotiate credit facilities, manage covenant compliance reporting, and optimize banking infrastructure.
• Own ALM strategy, hedging and FX risk management — monitor and manage the group's FX exposure, interest rate risk, and other financial risks; develop and implement appropriate hedging strategies in coordination with the CFO.
• Ensure treasury processes, policies, and controls are current, documented, and compliant with internal governance standards and applicable external regulations.
• Evaluate, select, and manage treasury systems and technology to support operational efficiency and data quality across the finance function.
• Support internal audit coordination for Finance & Treasury activities in partnership with the Group Controller.

Collateral Management

• Serve as primary operational owner for the group's collateral management program across reinsurance counterparties, executing against standards set by the Chief Credit Officer (CCO).
• Manage collateral valuation monitoring — track values against thresholds, reconcile custodian and trustee reports, and escalate discrepancies to ensure continuous compliance.
• Own Letter of Credit lifecycle management — issuance terms, expiry and renewal tracking, bank creditworthiness verification, and timely renewal or replacement.
• Administer Funds Withheld strategies and 144A Trust administration within CCO-approved investment guidelines.
• Execute collateral top-up demands — issue notices, track reinsurer response timelines, and confirm
