As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in supporting our members, answering their questions, and helping them redeem their rewards.
Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner, following a highly scripted workflow to complete accurate verification and assist callers with all requests
- Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching and providing solutions and/or alternatives
- Accessing company and client resources provided to accurately handle the call
- Skillfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
- Being available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
- Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions
- Flexibility to cross-train as requested
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Previous 1 year experience handling PHI/HIPAA covered entities (preferred but not required)
- Previous 1 year customer service or customer support experience (required)
- Previous 1 year call center or office background experience (required)
- Bilingual/Fluent in English and Spanish
- Technical savvy, able to toggle between multiple browsers & systems using dual monitors
- Previous remote work from home experience (preferred)
- Quick learner and able to work independently
- Type 35 words per minute accurately
- Strong phone and enthusiastic verbal communication skills along with active listening
- Must be 18 years of age
- A background check applicable with state and federal laws will be required
Equipment Provided
We'll provide you with the necessary equipment to perform your job duties, including:
- A dedicated work area (desk, chair, electrical outlet, direct LAN connection)
- A secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed internet connection (not WiFi)
- Childcare for anyone 4 years of age and younger is required
Pay & Benefits
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll enjoy:
- Starting pay - $17/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr nights & wkds)
- Work hours - Shifts between 11:00am-9:30 pm (CST); Work Days - Mon-Fri
- Paid Training - typically 1 week from 8:00am-5:00pm (CST)
- Status - Full-time Benefit (40 hrs) eligible 1st of month after 60 days
