Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the primary customer interface for inquiries, handling incoming phone calls and providing exceptional service to our members. You will be responsible for researching customer information, resolving customer issues, and proactively recommending items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. Key Responsibilities

- Interfaces with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail to provide exceptional service and support. - Researches customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to effectively respond to and resolve customer issues. - Elevates sensitive customer requests when necessary and ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations and mandates. - Remains current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommends items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability. - Complies with State and Federal regulations and mandates, which are continually changing, and takes initiative to stay current on policies and procedures required to support the customer and ensure compliance.

Essential Qualifications

- High School Diploma or Equivalent - Three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred) - Availability for training 9-12 weeks in length - Ability to work in a distraction-free environment with high-speed internet

Preferred Qualifications

- Basic medical/dental terminology and contract interpretation - Experience working in a dynamic environment with changing policies and procedures

Skills and Competencies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures - Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
