Experienced Life Customer Service Specialist – Insurance Product Support and Client Relations

Your Role and Impact
As a Life Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the primary point of contact for clients and financial advisors, providing support across all life product lines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with inquiries, issues, or requests
- Providing excellent customer service, addressing customer needs professionally, and ensuring a positive experience
- Resolving customer issues, troubleshooting problems, and escalating complex issues as needed
- Processing transactions and requests, such as account updates, payments, orders, or service changes
- Documenting interactions, issues, and resolutions in the system
- Following call scripts and guidelines to maintain consistency and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Meeting performance metrics, including call handling time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates
- Staying informed about company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information
- Handling sensitive information securely, maintaining confidentiality, and following data security protocols
- Working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to improve service quality

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent customer service experience
- Previous experience in a high-volume call center is a plus
- Knowledge of the life insurance industry is highly desired
- Superior attention to detail
- Proficiency in math
- Excellent telephone, verbal, and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office and Windows proficiency
- Organizational and analytical skills
- Continuing LOMA (Life Office Management Institute) or insurance education annually
- Active FINRA Series 6 license is a plus (if you don't have a FINRA Series 6 license, the opportunity to obtain a license may present itself after being hired)
