Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support to our team. Your primary duties will include:
- Maintaining spreadsheets and internal databases to track important customer information and orders
- Transferring data from client databases to internal databases
- Updating customer information in databases
- Organizing existing data in spreadsheets, client databases, and internal databases
- Verifying outdated data and making necessary changes to records
- Operating common office equipment, such as computers, scanners, and printers
- Searching for and investigating information contained in files
- Performing regular database backups to secure data
- Inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents
- Providing occasional administrative support
- Sorting and organizing hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors
- Assisting with special projects that require large amounts of data entry
- Providing data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis
- Typing in data quickly and efficiently
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills
- Ability to efficiently use a Windows-based computer
- Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work alone and with a team
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Experience in data entry or administrative support
- Familiarity with database management systems
- Knowledge of office software and equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
