Responsibilities
As a Customer Service/Business Development Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Making outbound calls to prospects to identify their needs and set appointments for our Outside Sales team
- Building rapport and establishing relationships with decision-makers at local businesses
- Setting qualified sales appointments and tracking activity in our CRM
- Utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and prospects
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
- Collaborating with the Outside Sales team to ensure seamless handoffs and maximize sales opportunities
Requirements
To be successful as a Customer Service/Business Development Representative, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Clear, professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence to ask for the appointment and negotiate sales opportunities
- Great listening and people skills to effectively build rapport with clients and prospects
- Comfortable making 100 calls/day and meeting sales targets
- Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in CRM software and ability to learn new systems quickly
