Job Summary

As a Customer Service/Business Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue for arenaflex. You'll be responsible for making outbound calls to local businesses, identifying their needs, and setting appointments for our Outside Sales team. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service/Business Development Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Making outbound calls to prospects to identify their needs and set appointments for our Outside Sales team
  • Building rapport and establishing relationships with decision-makers at local businesses
  • Setting qualified sales appointments and tracking activity in our CRM
  • Utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and prospects
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
  • Collaborating with the Outside Sales team to ensure seamless handoffs and maximize sales opportunities

Requirements

To be successful as a Customer Service/Business Development Representative, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Clear, professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence to ask for the appointment and negotiate sales opportunities
  • Great listening and people skills to effectively build rapport with clients and prospects
  • Comfortable making 100 calls/day and meeting sales targets
  • Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in CRM software and ability to learn new systems quickly

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, particularly in a B2B setting
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
  • Strong knowledge of the Lancaster, PA area and local businesses
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

  • Hourly pay + uncapped commission
  • Bonuses for every appointment set
  • Flexible hours: Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4:30 PM
  • Average full-time earnings: $35K–$65K
