Data Entry Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

As a Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Type Data in Computer Other Sources into the New Database: Accurately enter data into our systems
  • Compile, Verify Accuracy and Sort Information According to Priorities to Prepare Source Data for Computer Entry: Ensure data is accurate and organized
  • Correct and Modify Inaccurate Files and Records: Identify and correct errors in our data
  • Research and Get Information for Incomplete Documents: Investigate and resolve incomplete documents
  • Apply Data Program Techniques and Procedures: Utilize data entry software and procedures
  • Generate Reports, Store Completed Work in Designated Locations and Perform Backup Operations: Maintain accurate records and perform backup operations
  • Scan Documents and Print Files: Manage physical documents and files
  • Keep Information Confidential: Maintain confidentiality and data security
  • Respond to Requests for Information and Access Relevant Files: Provide support to colleagues and clients
  • Comply with Data Integrity and Security Policies: Ensure data is accurate and secure
  • Ensure Proper Use of Office Equipment and Address Any Malfunctions: Maintain office equipment and resolve issues

Data Entry Shift Info

Our Data Entry Clerk position is available for the following shifts:

  • Day Shift, 09:00 am to 05:00 pm - Monday - Friday: Work a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule
  • Saturday 9:00am - 12:00pm: Work a Saturday shift to support our clients

Data Entry Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

To succeed as a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • Proven Data Entry Work Experience: A minimum of 6 months of data entry experience, preferably in an administrative role
  • Experience with MS Office and Data Programs: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
  • Familiarity with Administrative Duties: Experience with administrative tasks, such as filing and record-keeping
  • Experience Using Office Equipment, Like Fax Machine and Scanner: Familiarity with office equipment and technology
  • Typing Speed and Accuracy: A minimum typing speed of 40 wpm with high accuracy
  • Excellent Knowledge of Correct Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation: Strong written communication skills
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Confidentiality: The ability to maintain confidentiality and data security
  • Organizational Skills, with an Ability to Stay Focused on Assigned Tasks: Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Data Entry Experience Preferred: Previous data entry experience is highly desirable
  • Able to Pass a Background Check: A clean background check is required
  • Able to Work in the US: Eligibility to work in the United States
