Job Summary

As a Part-Time Outlet Customer Service Associate - Flexible, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and contributing to the success of our Outlet department. You will work closely with customers, colleagues, and management to ensure a positive shopping experience, resolve customer issues, and maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers

• Drive sales growth by actively engaging customers, promoting products, and resolving customer issues
• Work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and assist with purchases
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to all safety requirements and protocols
• Operate store equipment, including Zebra phones, telephones, paging systems, and computers
• Process sales transactions, handle customer returns, and manage inventory
• Assist with freight and merchandising fulfillments, physically moving stock, and scheduling shipments
• Coordinate and support deliveries, answering questions and solving problems related to deliveries
• Inspect merchandise prior to loading and delivery, prepare merchandise and loads for delivery, and verify invoices against items loaded
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to housekeeping standards and programs

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail or related environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of customer service experience in a retail or related environment

• Experience working in a home improvement or hardware store environment
• Knowledge of Lowe's products and services
• Bilingual or multilingual skills
• Experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
