Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Customer/1 Billing Expert to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialized insights in customer service and service order management, designing, coding, testing, and debugging mainframe applications, and collaborating with business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and implement solutions. Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialized insights in customer service and service order management
- Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS
- Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and implement solutions
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and data security policies
- Assist with project documentation and training materials
- Coordinate with support teams to ensure timely issue resolution
- Develop and maintain an understanding of customer-specific business environments and service level agreements
- Identify and resolve customer problems using defined procedures and documenting troubleshooting efforts
CSS Billing & Finance Sr. Developer Responsibilities
* Design, code, test, and debug mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS
- Develop and maintain financial transaction processing systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Conduct system analysis and performance tuning to enhance efficiency
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and data security policies
- Provide technical support, resolve system issues, and implement enhancements
- Maintain system documentation and assist in training junior developers
CSS Billing & Finance Business Analyst Responsibilities
* Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Analyze billing data, generate reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Collaborate with developers to implement updates and enhancements in the mainframe billing system
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, ensuring seamless operations
- Maintain documentation for billing processes and ensure adherence to industry standards
- Act as a bridge between business teams and IT to align billing system functionalities with business goals
Essential Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience in mainframe customer/1 billing
- Strong background in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and data security policies
