Job Summary

As a Customer Master Data Specialist, you'll be responsible for setting up, closing, and partnering with customer accounts, as well as executing their contractual pricing within our SAP environment. You'll work closely with subject matter experts to establish implementation timelines and document requirements, research and review existing customer accounts to determine necessary changes, and create and develop pricing plans to load in SAP. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in ensuring the successful implementation of customer rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

* Set up, close, and partner with customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely implementation of contractual pricing within SAP

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish implementation timelines and document requirements
  • Research and review existing customer accounts to determine necessary changes to meet agreement terms
  • Create and develop pricing plans to load in SAP, ensuring accurate and compliant pricing structures
  • Identify and communicate technical issues and concerns to internal customers for timely resolution
  • Implement rollout material into SAP within required timelines
  • Perform post-load audits of pricing, account partnerships, and customer master data to verify end results meet required guidelines and contractual terms
  • Coordinate and communicate key data points with internal and external stakeholders, providing timely progress reports on outstanding rollout requests
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders, including management, support, Salesforce, business unit contacts, and customers
  • Participate in special projects given by SA Manager(s) in support of agreed-upon department needs

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience working in a related role

  • 1-2 years of inside sales, customer service, or relevant arenaflex/industry experience
  • SAP navigation knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding and safety products a plus
  • Previous exposure to commercial contract language, terms, and conditions preferred
  • Prior experience manipulating large datasets and analyzing data from multiple sources preferred

Desirable Skills and Competencies

* Relevant Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience, with an emphasis on advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets

  • Expert attention to detail, with ability to analyze, research, and manipulate data
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills, with ability to interact with and take direction from all levels of the Strategic Account team
  • Organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive individual, comfortable working both independently and as a team member
  • Outstanding work ethic, with ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to develop solutions to existing problems using fact-based problem solving and historical precedence
  • Ability to handle, manage, and work a multifaceted, complex customer account, including completion of research, analysis, and implementation of customer's contractual terms, accounts, partnerships, and pricing structures
