Job Summary
As an Admin 1 - Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting our QIC DME program by performing various data entry tasks, producing and maintaining data reports, and verifying data entries for accuracy and completeness. You'll also be responsible for performing database queries, assisting with medical case file creation and/or closing, and providing support with decision notification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Enter accurate and complete data into computer programs, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Produce and maintain data reports, highlighting inconsistencies or issues that require management attention.
- Perform database queries to assist with analysis and report issues when necessary.
- Verify data entries for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all information is accurate and reliable.
- Assist with medical case file creation and/or closing, including data entry and records management.
- Provide support with decision notification, including mailing decision letters to all parties and faxing decision letters.
- Accurately update the Medicare Appeal system (MAS) and other databases.
- Demonstrate and maintain appropriate judgment with confidential information.
- Determine if work assignments require supervisor intervention.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience required.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Prior experience with Medicare Appeals and Systems preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen or have lived in the US for the last 5 years, working continuously for 3 years.
Home Office Requirements
* Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity).
- Minimum 5mbps upload speed.
- Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router.
- Private work area and adequate power source.
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Medicare Appeals and Systems is highly desirable.
