We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative (Hybrid) who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative (Hybrid) at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and referral sources in a courteous and professional manner
  • Providing accurate information and assistance based on caller needs
  • Accurately entering new patient details into our computer system, including personal information, diagnosis, physician details, product requirements, and insurance information
  • Maintaining up-to-date and precise records of all patient interactions and transactions
  • Securing written orders from physicians and verifying patient insurance coverage
  • Generating and processing orders efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate
  • Keeping customers and referral sources informed about the status of their orders
  • Conducting follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or concerns
  • Managing a multi-line switchboard, directing calls to the appropriate departments or personnel as needed
  • Ensuring that calls are answered promptly and routed correctly to minimize wait times
  • Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering support
  • Advocating for patients by ensuring they receive the necessary information and resources
  • Working closely with other departments and team members to ensure seamless operations and patient care

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3 years of experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in using computer systems
  • Ability to manage a multi-line switchboard effectively
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to service

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business, or communications)

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a customer service or patient advocacy role
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Patient Advocate (CPA))

  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days in office

Remote/Hybrid Terms

* Must train on-site at our Center Line Headquarters

  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule of minimum 3 days in office
