Job Summary
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences for our clients. You'll be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information about defined benefit annuities, account maintenance, and claims processes. Your strong communication skills, technical expertise, and ability to navigate complex systems will enable you to provide seamless support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing accurate and timely information about defined benefit annuities, account maintenance, and claims processes
- Resolve customer issues and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Process customer requests, such as direct deposit changes and address updates
- Assist family members and beneficiaries with claims processes
- Provide education and guidance to customers on the correct process for receiving information
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction
- Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality scores, first-call resolution rates, and customer satisfaction ratings
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical and soft skills
Requirements
* 1-2 years of call center experience, with a focus on customer service
- 1-2 years of experience with Windows-based operating systems, including Microsoft Office and other productivity software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information to customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High-speed internet connection and a quiet, secure workspace (hotspots not allowed)
- Ability to use video during interviews and training
- Availability to work during business hours, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and business needs
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on retirement income solutions
- Knowledge of defined benefit annuities and related products
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools
- Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
Training and Development

- Our training program includes a 3-week on-site training session, followed by 2 weeks of nesting and quality assessment
- After successful completion of the training program, you'll work remotely as a full-time customer service representative
