Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering heavy call volumes in a remote Call Center environment
  • Answering patient questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and empathetic manner
  • Forwarding calls as necessary to alternate billing departments
  • Determining resolutions to customer issues while adhering to our client rules and expectations
  • Following through with all requests, which may require calling alternate parties, emailing or faxing information

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be a brand ambassador for arenaflex, representing our company and values to our clients and patients. Your impact will be felt across our organization, as you ensure that all HIPAA rules, regulations, and timely filing limits are adhered to, and that issues are identified and addressed in a timely and effective manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Answer heavy call volumes in a remote Call Center environment

  • Answer patient questions and address concerns in a friendly and empathetic manner
  • Forward calls as necessary to alternate billing departments
  • Determine resolutions to customer issues while adhering to our client rules and expectations
  • Follow through with all requests, which may require calling alternate parties, emailing or faxing information

Skills/Experience Required

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong computer skills, including basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Some insurance billing knowledge (full training provided)
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
  • Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize tasks to complete all work assigned
  • Punctuality and dependability

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a Call Center or customer service role

  • Knowledge of insurance billing and medical terminology
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
