Job Summary
We're seeking a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our arenaflex team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for new customers, providing support and guidance on our products and services. You will be responsible for new order intake, ensuring accuracy with clinical, billing, and care-related information, and processing orders in a timely manner. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will make you an invaluable asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, referral sources, and employees, addressing their questions, concerns, and needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Process new orders, ensuring accuracy with clinical, billing, and care-related information, and completing paperwork in a timely manner.
- Conduct insurance verification and eligibility for services/products, collecting co-pays and deductible amounts as necessary.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations, and FDA/DOT and JCAHO guidelines.
- Maintain accuracy and quality control throughout patient contact and data input, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work extensively with eIntake proprietary system, performing tasks related to patient care and third-party reimbursement.
- Provide education to referral sources, patients, and employees on qualifications for service and third-party billing.
- Build relationships with locations, field management, patients, and referral sources, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- One year of related work experience, preferred.
- Experience with medical billing practices and of billing reimbursement, preferred.
- Experience in medical field and administrative record management, preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, preferred.
- Certification in medical billing or a related field, preferred.

* Accurately perform simple mathematical calculations.
- Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written.
- Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual).
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and caution when handling sensitive information.
