Audit Director - HUD (REMOTE)
Experience: Director Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year Job Details - Responsibilities will be tailored to your experience level and may include:
- Lead HUD audit engagements from planning through completion
- Review work papers, financial statements, and audit documentation
- Analyze and evaluate internal controls, accounting processes, and systems
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, reviewing work and providing on-the-job training (supervisor level and above)
- Manage client communications, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
- Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously and manage project budgets and billing (manager/director level)
- Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact (manager/director level)
- Contribute to business development, proposal efforts, and practice growth initiatives (director level)
- Perform technical research and stay current on HUD and GAAP requirements
- Identify opportunities to enhance client service and strengthen relationships
