Associate Cloud Support Engineer
You will provide technical support for core cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, and storage products.
Responsibilities
- Respond to a high volume of technical customer tickets in a timely manner.
- Support products such as Droplets, Load Balancers, DNS, and Block and Object Storage.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to advocate for customer needs.
- Identify, communicate, and document improvements to processes and policies.
- Troubleshoot web hosting errors and network connectivity issues.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in technical support or related roles.
- Proficiency with Linux fundamentals and command-line troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and TLS protocols.
- Understanding of the OSI model, public/private IPs, and networking tools like curl, traceroute, and dig.
- Experience with web hosting environments, including cPanel, WordPress, and node.js.
- Basic understanding of Cloud APIs, scripting, Docker, and containerization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer interaction.
- Knowledge of Cloud computing, DNS, and web hosting troubleshooting.
Preferred Skills
- Linux certifications.
