We work with external, enterprise customers from various industries, including CloudOps, DevOps, Platform, and Infrastructure. Our customers are looking for cloud and hybrid solutions that can help them streamline their operations and improve their bottom line. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their unique requirements.
Primary Role & Responsibilities
As a Solutions Engineer - Kubernetes Support - Customer First, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide expert guidance on Kubernetes design, deployment, and management.
- Guiding customers through the entire customer life cycle, from presale to setup, installation, and ongoing support.
- Developing and maintaining high-quality documentation to ensure that customers have the resources they need to succeed.
- Working closely with our internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded.
Skills & Experience
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience in engineering and operations, with a strong background in systems, software, infrastructure, and cloud computing.
- 2+ years of experience supporting external customers, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- In-depth knowledge of orchestration, containerization, and Kubernetes, including design, deployment, and management.
- Experience with cloud computing, including compute, networking, and storage services.
- Proficiency in AKS, EKS, GKE, and cloud-native technologies.
- Strong Linux skills, including Bash and Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with Python, Go, and C programming languages.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud security best practices.
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant discipline is ideal.
