Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our remote team as a Part-Time Customer Service Advisor. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for handling high-volume calls from customers with inquiries about their recent purchases. You'll use your problem-solving skills to find quick solutions and resolve any issues, while also providing exceptional service and helping customers feel heard.

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling inbound calls from customers with inquiries about their recent purchases
  • Assisting customers with tracking numbers, order statuses, product returns, and other post-purchase needs
  • Using your problem-solving skills to find quick solutions and resolve any issues
  • Helping de-escalate frustrated customers with empathy and professionalism
  • Occasionally assisting with upselling or cross-selling when appropriate and necessary

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • At least six months of experience in customer service
  • High-speed internet access, meeting the following speeds: download 10mbps+, upload 3mbps+, Ping less than 175ms (no Wi-Fi or satellite internet, you must have an ethernet connection)
  • Ability to accurately type at least 30 WPM
  • Secured workspace with a door that is only accessible to you during work hours
  • Familiarity with iOS and/or macOS, or comparable technology, is preferred
  • Training will be 19 days of full-time hours, working Monday through Friday 10am – 6:30pm CST starting the week of July 13th
  • Be flexible with at least 40 hours of availability per week (at least 8 of those hours on one weekend day)
  • Work at least 16 hours per week, working no more than 29 hours per week
  • Reside in one of our US hiring zones

Compensation and Benefits
