Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Joliet, IL. As a key point of contact for our customers, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and driving results through effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing shipping and receiving within our system in partnership with General Manager and Supervisors
  • Processing billing and invoicing with tight turnaround times and attention to detail
  • Resolving any issues with billing, invoicing, shipping, and/or receiving with customers and internal management
  • Daily effective communication (email, phone, or in-person) with customers and internal team members and management
  • Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customer regarding invoicing and credit changes
  • Following arenaflex corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and assisting in enforcing them when necessary
  • Observing all company safety rules and assisting in enforcement as appropriate
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education; Bachelor's degree in business or similar discipline preferred
  • 3 years verifiable customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding computer and data entry skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in logistics and supply chain operations

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
