Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing support to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Greeting customers and responding to their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner - Processing transactions accurately and efficiently - Maintaining a clean and organized store environment - Providing product information and making recommendations to customers - Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner - Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals - Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner - Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card, and mobile payments - Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and disposing of trash - Provide product information and make recommendations to customers to increase sales and enhance their shopping experience - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues to management as needed - Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, including participating in sales promotions and events - Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, including product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred - 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations - Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role - Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and cash handling procedures - Experience with point-of-sale systems and other retail technology - Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak different languages - Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
